More of God?

 “Pssst, hey you, yes you! Do you want more of God?”

Job 23:3 Oh that I knew where I might Him! That I might come even to His seat!

Many in our world today and even right here in our greater community around Outlook are hungry for more of God in their life. Whether you are in need of a healing, a miracle, deliverance, hope, or just plain desire a closer walk with God, pursuing after more of God is really the only answer! Maybe you just feel your life is not in good spiritual order and you would like to make things right and walk a little higher! God has designed us with a little spot in our heart that longs for Him, and we all seek to fill it somehow, but we often seek to fill it by chasing the wrong things.

Most of our ancestors reverenced God as Righteous and Holy along with His many other attributes, whether they went to church or not, yet today He is shrugged off by many as being either nonexistent or irrelevant. The influences of our society have beaten the godly faith of many down, while at the same time many who teach falsely have built up the faith of many in an unscriptural message and experience! The name of Jesus has suffered a great reproach in recent years which has caused many to shy away from following Him when they should in fact join the cause and fight, as many have!

So how do we reach/find this more of God experience? You may ask as they did at Pentecost, “…Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:37-40

In your quest for more of God, don’t be content to limit your search to, or within a church that seems familiar either by family, friends or past experience, but look for “The Real, The True, The Genuine” apostolic faith that was once delivered unto the saints. Some churches tend to follow “Church tradition” rather than search out the teachings of Jesus and His apostles!

No matter who you are or your situation, God has more for you, do you want it?
